Gender trends in computer science authorship

چکیده

A large-scale, up-to-date analysis of Computer Science literature (11.8M papers through 2019) reveals that, if trends from the last 50 years continue, parity between number male and female authors will not be reached in this century. In contrast, is projected to within two three decades or may have already been other fields study like Medicine Sociology. Our collaboration shifts size gap different perceived genders. The persistent but shrinking, corresponding a slow increase rate cross-gender collaborations over time. Together, these describe gender authorship that close without systematic intervention.
